"Moon Over Buffalo" Photo

And the reviews are in!
"Susan L. Stepputtis is every inch the diva as Charlotte Hay: tall, regal and doing everything she can to maintain her dignity as her husband George does everything he can to flush their marriage and their last chance at movie stardom down the dressing room toilet. Separately, Stepputtis and Bob Lane, who plays George, are first-rate actors at the top of their games. Stepputtis can take the most ordinary line and make it funny or poignant or both together. Stepputtis and Lane are pure magic on stage, a mature Sonny and Cher who play off each other perfectly."

The theatre "goes dark" on 'night, Mother'

Susan, featured guest artist, portrayed Mama Thelma Cates in Bethany College's production of the Pulitzer Prize winner, "'night, Mother", directed by Laura Hardt, to rave reviews:
"(This play) featured two fine actresses at the top of their respective games.  (The daughter) held her own opposite the always-superb Stepputtis.  Stepputtis' performance as Thelma, the mother, was a master class in acting.  Stepputtis took her character to the edge, but never went over that edge into melodrama.  Instead, she found multiple layers to a character that could have been reduced to a caricature in the hands of a lesser actress."

Joseph and the Amazing, Technicolor Dream Coat

Susan played Joseph's brother Reuben in The Hope Players' production of "Joseph and the Amazing, Technicolor Dream Coat", as well as danced in and choreographed two numbers, to the following review:
AND THE REVIEWS ARE IN!
"Special mention should be made of Stepputtis' rendition of "Canaan Days." Stepputtis, a natural soprano, succeeded in giving this tenor solo a French chanteuse sensibility, while realizing the song's full comic potential. Dressed in male garb, she provided a strong voice and presence."
